“DAMN and blast” were probably the polite words running this unknown’s mind as he took the weight of Peahi on the head.
Just holding his line then ‘oomf’ caught a rail and gone, over the falls, and then wave number two arrives. Not nice.
The North Pacific has been on a seemingly unstoppable swell producing run and this 30 foot swell hit Maui’s north coast on January 11th 2010.
There’s more to come with another huge swell forecast over the coming days.
